Hello Planter's Walk Piranha Parents!

Here are the basics of what you'll need to know for the Practice Meet Tomorrow.

• Where: Planter's Walk Pool - 901 Lynnwood Rd. Knightdale NC 27545
• When: Tuesday, June 7th. Please try to be there at 4:45 to check in. Warm-ups start at 5:15. The meet itself starts at 6 PM
• What: Practice meet. This meet is just our swimmers getting used to how a meet will work and what they will need to do. We ask all families to volunteer to help run the meet. The Practice meet is a great time to try out a new volunteer position and see how the rest of the meet works. Please sign up now if you haven't yet. 
• Parking: Please park at the pool or on the pool side of Lynnwood. Avoid side streets. We also recommend walking, if you can, to reduce parking congestion, especially at the later meets.
• Bring: Black swim suits, goggles, chairs (There are often not enough pool chairs for everyone at meets). Orange Piranha swim caps will be provided for your child at this meet. 
• Buy: Hot dog / Hamburger meals will be available to feed hungry Piranhas and proceeds go right back to supporting your team!! 
• Note: The pool and kiddie pool will both be closed for the duration of the swim meet. Kids will only be in the water for their warmup and events. 

Finally, it's important enough to mention twice. These meets work because of parent volunteers. Please volunteer and help out wherever you can. You can sign up right on the website. If you aren't sure what is a best fit, ask us when your kids are registering, and we are happy to help you find a role. We are also reaching out so some parents ahead of time in the hopes of getting everyone involved.
