This coming Tuesday the Planters Walk Piranhas are Swimming an Away Meet against Lifetime Athletic Raleigh Rays. There's a lot of important information in this email, so please read. 

Planter's Walk vs Lifetime is this Tuesday, June 28th.

Please Volunteer HERE if you have not already. 

Location: 8515 Falls of Neuse Road  Try to arrive by 5, and no later than 5:15, as we need to check in every swimmer to make sure our line up is locked in correctly. Plan for traffic and check-in time at the front desk (more on that later) 

Check In All Families will need to check in at the front desk for the swim meet. They need to communicate to the front desk that they are with Planter's Walk and are here for the swim meet this evening. All families will sign a wavier (required for all guests at Life Time). Aquatics team members next to the desk will direct families to the outdoor pool deck.

  • Planter's Walk (Visiting): 5:30-6:00pm
• Volunteer Meeting: 5:45pm
• Meet Start: 6:00 PM

  • Upon entering the outdoor pool door closest to the front parking lot Planter's Walk will have the area directly to the left. There are an extensive amount of lounge chairs if you wish to use them but parents can bring their own chairs 
• The entire OUTDOOR free swim area of the pool and INDOOR pools ARE CLOSED 

• There is no outdoor Lighting at this pool so the meet will end if the guards can no longer see the bottom of the pool. Lifetime is confident they can finish the meet in time

Food / Concessions Life Time does NOT allow any outdoor food, coolers, or alcohol. Lifetime staff will stop any families that arrive with coolers, outside food, etc. and will not allow them access to the pool until these items are returned to their car. They do allow swimmers to bring a drink, food, and small snacks ONLY IF ALL ITEMS FIT INSIDE A LUNCH BOX. This must be the size of a lunch box that a child would take to school with them for a meal. Options for food at Lifetime are as follows: 

• Life Time Bistro - Located on the outdoor pool deck. Menu items include popsicles, slushies, drinks, grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, pretzels, burgers, roll ups, hummus, salads, fresh fruit, assorted drinks, etc.
  • Closes at 8pm
• Life Time Cafe - Located inside Life Time to the left of the front desk. Menu items include quesadillas, Bowls, Salads, Burgers, Sandwiches, Coffee, teas, breakfast items, mac and cheese, pizzas, smoothies, grap-and-go meals/sandwiches/snacks, assortment of drinks, etc.
  • Closes at 9pm

*Lifetime will provide bottled water and donated snacks to all swim meet volunteers throughout the evening. We can't run these meets without our volunteers, so we make to make sure they are taken care of
